150 Tuesday Gym Quotes
Happy Tuesday!
Struggling to stick to your workout routine or fitness goals? Don’t give up on your fitness journey. Great things are on the other side of consistency.
I always have the best day in the gym when I get a fresh start. I start my morning with a hot cup of coffee and a light-protein-packed breakfast. Then, I read a few of my favorite motivational quotes to bring out the best version of myself. I love to read and have been keeping a running list of my favorite inspirational quotes for years.
Unlike most quote posts on social media, I like to pick out several of my favorite quotes from one person. I find this is better than a single good workout quote. It helps me understand the author’s mindset. You’ll notice some usual suspects in my motivational fitness quotes series. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Jordan, and David Goggins show up a lot. So does Kobe, Walt Disney, and Wayne Gretzky.
I include a lot of athletes because it’s a group of people who understand the importance of gym motivation. But there are plenty of powerful words from former presidents, philosophers, poets, and coaches below.

“What I’m doing is the thing I want to do. I don’t care what other people think. If the rest disagrees and says I shouldn’t waste my time, I still will be a bodybuilder. I love it. I love the feeling in my muscles, I love the competition, and I love the things it gives me. I have never really had to work in my whole life. I’ve never had an eight to six job. I’ve always made good money. I’ve traveled all over the world competing and giving exhibitions. “The only way to be a champion is by going through these forced reps and the torture and pain. That’s way I call it the torture routine. Because it’s like forced torture. Torturing my body. What helps me is to think of this pain as pleasure. Pain makes me grow. Growing is what I want. Therefore, for me pain is pleasure. And so when I am experiencing pain I’m in heaven. It’s great. People suggest this is masochistic. But they’re wrong. I like pain for a particular reason. I don’t like needle’s stuck in my arm. But I do like the pain that is necessary to be a champion.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

If you have the discipline to get out of bed, you win—you pass the test. If you are mentally weak for that moment and you let that weakness keep you in bed, you fail.
